Small & Medium Business Center Association of Korea which represents 14 small business centers across the nation was founded in 2001 to help foster small & medium-sized enterprises in Korea and contribute to the national economic development by promoting information exchange among Small & Medium Business Centers across the country and joint development of support programs for SMEs.
Hong Ki-hwa, CEO and president of the Gyeonggi Small & Medium Business Center is a top administrator who has built his career in the field of promotion of exports and exhibitions. Mr. Hong worked as president of KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) and president of KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) before he was appointed as the head of the agency dedicated to promoting trade for SMEs in Gyeonggi province in 2008.
Marking its 15th anniversary this year, Gyeonggi Small Business Center (President Hong Ki-hwa) was founded in 1997 with the aim of providing comprehensive support for small & medium-sized enterprises based in Gyeonggi province.
