Ever since it was established in 2002, Pukyungtech has been committed to releasing new fashionoriented solar-powered electric bikes.
Currently, the Busan-based venture is engaged in developing and selling eco-friendly-oriented and green growth-related products that range from electric bicycles charged with solar energy, to ocean leisure products.
For the upcoming Busan International Motor Show 2012 to be held at Bexco in Busan, the company ambitiously prepared its flagship electric bicycle model named “Hubik.” Innovatively designed, the bicycle helps promote a new paradigm in the electric bicycle and leisure culture through addressing the problems in use, which were seen in conventional electric bicycles such as difficulty in charging, a safety issue - the driver was frequently exposed to the danger of explosion by the protruded battery, the heavy weight amounting to approximately 25~30kg, high prices, etc.
Designed as a foldable structure, the user can easily put it in the trunk of a passenger car.
