Unlike conventional outdoor repeaters, WITHUS ICS (Interference Cancellation System) repeaters operate for outdoor coverage extension without expensive microwave equipments or optical fibers. They receive RF signal from BS, then boost and retransmit it to service area, and retransmit boosted MS signal to BS without any dedicated link between BS and repeater.
The state-of-the-art DSP technology developed by WITHUS enables cancellation of the feedback from transmit antenna to receive antenna of repeater, so that the quality of boosted signal is not degraded by feedback interference and the selfoscillation is avoided.
