Unlike conventional outdoor repeaters, WITHUS ICS (Interference Cancellation
System) repeaters operate for outdoor coverage extension without expensive microwave
equipments or optical fibers. They receive RF signal from BS, then boost and retransmit it
to service area, and retransmit boosted MS signal to BS without any dedicated link
between BS and repeater. The state-of-the-art DSP technology developed by WITHUS
enables cancellation of the feedback from transmit antenna to receive antenna of
repeater, so that the quality of boosted signal is not degraded by feedback interference
and the self-oscillation is avoided. As well as the outdoor ICS repeaters, the indoor ICS
repeaters are essential equipments for better cellular reception that enables strong signals
in various locations where reception has been known to be weak, such as underground
parking lots and high-rise buildings. Its features include interference cancellation capability up to 40dB for multipath
feedback in the field, wide cancellation window of up to 8us, multiple gain and power classes up to 100dB
and 40W, multistage self-oscillation protection for stable operation, real-time isolation monitoring, convenient
maintenance software with GUI, optional MNS software for remote monitoring and control, etc.
