Specializing in special coating materials, ‘Durachemie’ has developed a lowfriction, pollution resistant varnish “DU-SLIP” that took 7 years to develop. This product self-certified its technology, driven by receiving both the Gold and Special award at the ‘2009 International Geneva New Techniques and Product Exhibition’.
“DU-SLIP” is greater in its price competitiveness compare to those of imported products. Also it has better tensile strength, attachment strength, thermal resistance, durability of abrasion, shock endurance and lengthened coating lifespan that reduces repair and maintenance costs. Moreover, whereas other varnishes require 3~4days until hardening, “DUSLIP” is made to harden also under soil temperature that gives greater workability.
Durachemie invests 7~8% of its annual profit in R&D to secure new technologies. In 2002, starting from obtaining a patent for ‘water solvable exfoliation paint’, it now possesses 50 different kinds of patent and national official certifications. Currently, the company is placed number one in the market of slip resistant pavements & cycle paths. Furthermore, through excellent technology and price competitiveness, the company signed an MOU with the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory and a few others that have led to successful market expansion overseas.

Internal coating of liquid pipelines is increasingly becoming of great interest in the oil transportation industry. As part of this flow, major global oil enterprises are currently seeking ways of adding an internal coating for liquid pipelines for solving the
problem of internal corrosion.
After years of research and development (R&D), Durachemie has decided to enter the market of internal pipeline coatings, effectively utilizing its independentlydeveloped “DU-SLIP” coating material, which is being recognized as viable and attractive alternative solution for both new and existing pipelines.
Durachemie, is currently striving to develop such new products as coating agents, grouting products, lining products, urethane paint, epoxy paint, anti-slip agent, lowfrictional anti-fouling paint, antichemical coating agents and metal protection agents. Efforts are under way to make inroad into overseas markets especially in the Middle East, Southeast Asia,
China, and the United States.
Durachemie has recorded the No.1 market share of coating materials for no slip and bike road from 2006 to 2009 in a row, further holding internal pipeline coatings technology, effectively utilizing its independently developed “DU-SLIP” coating material.
