Ilsintech has made the purchasing cost of splice-on connectors and installation costs lower than the mechanical connectors and has developed and been supplying a semi-permanent FTTH solution ensuring that the use of FTTH connectors and transmission equipment connectors will spread in near future.
Ilsintech has created a new concept into the FTTH fusion splicer (Swift F1) based on Ilsintech's high precision technology of optical industrial field which has been accumulated in the past and performs five multi-operational tasks including heat stripping,cleaning, cleaving, splicing and sleeving systematically.
On the one hand, Ilsintech has applied the fusion splicing technology of Swift F1 to the field-installable splice-on connector as it is and integration of the ferrule part improves the field work efficiency dramatically. On the other hand, Ilsintech has resolved the problems associated with lowquality, weak durability and high installation and maintenance cost of mechanical connectors, reduced the manufacturing cost of splice-on connector and supplied at the high price, by completing the development of field installable fusion splice-onconnector, which is complementary to Swift F1, so anybody can use the field installable fusion splice-on connector.
The splice-on connector can be used not only in the field of communications but is also widely used in advanced technical fields including aerospace, military, shipbuilding, medical and power plant and the pictures shown in the right and bottom of this page describe the configuration of FTTx Network solution.
