Young-Hwa has the longest history and technical tradition for making instrument transformers (P.T.C. & M.O.F), domestic transformers, discharging coil, testing equipment and epoxy casting apparatus for special application in South Korea, all of which have the voltage range from low voltage up to 72.5Kv., leading the area of domestic medium voltage instrument transformers with 50 years experience. Kinds of commodities from the company are divided into oil-porcelain bushing type, dry type (epoxy casting, varnished coating or polyester casting) and SF gas type according to the insulation material.
Among the company¡¯s main product models of medium voltage instrument transformers are: C.T (current transformer) model with capacity up to 72KV; V.T (voltage transformer) model with capacity up to 72KV; M.O.F model (combined instrument transformer); and epoxy mold products such as bushings and spacers for G.I.S or M.C.S.G. panel. The M.O.F model consists of three current transformers and three voltage transformers.
Programmed as the very important electric equipment in the metering system, the model is connected with KWH meter only for the purpose of metering. The model is basically capable of displaying the superior electrical capacity along with needing only a small space for installation, easy for wiring and competitive price. With the equipped function of start-up, the product can standardize a start-up method by comparing a real start-up operating condition to a standard start-up curve.
