HAAN has launched eco-friendly and harmless magnesium frying pans to target consumer groups that care about both the environment and health. The HAAN magnesium pans are made by using the eco-friendly magnesium from the world’s leading steelmaker POSCO. Magnesium that constitutes 2.7% of the Earth’s surface can be 100% recycled.
Although the brand-new magnesium pans are more expensive than the conventional aluminum products, they grow in popularity since they are safe even if the coating of the pan is peeled off. Also, the magnesium pans also feature eco-friendly Keronite surface coating that improves the pan’s durability and performance. The manufacturer has succeeded in fundamentally eliminating harmful factors from the manufacturing stage to present the safest products.
Additionally, the magnesium’s lightweight nature - it is lighter by two-thirds than aluminum and one-fifth lighter than stainless steel - gives less stress on the wrist even though the cooking time lasts longer. Besides, the magnesium pan’s excellent heat conduction helps shorten the cooking time, saving fuel expenses by up to 30%, compared with the conventional pans. Also, the magnesium pan emits high efficiency of far infrared rays, which makes food more delicious by penetrating into food, without burning the surface of the food. Particularly, meats are well cooked, retaining rich flavor and juiciness.
