Pinetron Co., Ltd. was established in March 1999 by a group of R&D managers from Daewoo Electronics to be a new forerunner of the 21st century digital information society and the advanced future state. The company started from producing non-memory semiconductors (ASIC) and has now moved to stand-alone DVR.
