SETEC aims to help enhance the international competitiveness of Seoul-based SMEs (Small and Mediumsized
Enterprises). It boasts an excellent track record, holding conventions that fill about 60 percent of its capacity. SETEC consists of three exhibition halls and four convention rooms with 15,630 square meters of floor space inside the building, which is built on 34,600 square meters of land. The space can be organized in many different ways to accommodate demands for various kinds of events, including specialty exhibitions, international meetings, events and performances. The SETEC is furnished with four international conference rooms with different space ranging from 30 seats to 300 seats, which are ideal for holding small-sized conferences. This world-class exhibition and convention center is fully equipped with a wide range of annex and support facilities VIP room and cafeteria. In addition, convention halls offering diverse multimedia facilities including video and audio and illumination equipment, and other amenities like a parking lot accommodating up to 600 vehicles. The convention center is designed to allow visitors to have easy access to convention halls. Plus, SETEC provides reasonable venue rental fees and custom-tailored management capability by highly-experienced staff. SETEC is consistently involved in promoting the exhibitions and events held in the center both inside
and outside the exhibition center through various mass media including newspapers and visual media as
well as advertising on the subway and in subway stations.

Coordinator Supports:
SETEC strives to provide full support to exhibition organizers so as to help exhibitions to produce
expected results. In a part of the effort, it offers exhibition-related information and assistance to identification
of potential participants of the relevant exhibitions.
Ease of Access to Public Transportation:
SETEC is ideally located in Daechi-dong, downtown Seoul, a major transportation point and provides
convenient access to public transportation.Visitors can easily reach the center via subway since it is
connected to the only exit of Hangnyeoul Station on Seoul Subway Line 3. In addition to the optimal
location, SETEC features 15,630 square meters of large one-story space on the land covering 34,600 square
meters, which means that different types of large-scale outdoor exhibitions are easily organized.
Pursuing joint-growth with relevant organizations and companies, SETEC moved to replace the deposit on registration imposed on the designated subcontractors with guarantee insurance policy for the first time as a convention center in the
nation in 2008, leading other convention centers to follow suit. Finally, the deposit on registration at all of the local convention centers was abolishedin 2009, leading to cost-savings worth 17 billion won on an annual basis. SETEC, supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, aims to play a vital role in promoting the growth of Seoul¡¯s SMEs by supporting their
