Despite the relatively short business history, WITHTECH has been manufacturing and supplying highest level molecular contamination monitoring systems, such as ammonia, acidic gases, ozone, VOCs, and metallic contamination, etc. all of which have various features of monitoring of semiconductor photolithography processes and clean room environment and monitoring of display manufacturing process and environment. Also, they have excellent functions of ultra-high sensitivity, high reliability and stability, extensive measurement range, fast and automatic measurement, etc.
Seoung-kyo Yoo, president of the company explained, “Our revenue growth this year is expected to be double that of last year, due to strong investment according to the positive trend of the semiconductor market. What’s more, our export volume is also expected to be worth approximately $4million this year,
on the back of past performance of approximately $0.2 million in 2007 and $1million in 2008, respectively.” Asked about the current major market and futuristic promising market, he added “We are currently focusing on the markets in the U.S.A. and China, and we also further plan to accelerate exports to foreign manufacturers that specialize in producing semiconductor and display, while continuously conducting a plan to boost exports to Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia, etc.” Currently, the company has a production capacity of approximately 10 to 20 units on a monthly basis, but if the new factory is completed later this year, production capacity is expected to more than double, and in the case of overseas exports, it has a system of supplying exports to overseas customers within three months after receiving an order.
Questioned about the company’s future export strategy, the president said “We are seeking various ways to bolster exports by acquiring certifications like
NET, CE, NRTL, and S-Mark, while continuously managing ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 for stable quality management of products and the environment. “Our
brand name is relatively lower than those of advanced countries, but we can offer opportunities to promising overseas buyers to establish a good partnership since our products have gained a good reputation from the world-class semiconductor and display companies such as Samsung Electronics, Hynix, and LG Display,” said the president.
He went on to say that “We further plan to become one of the leading companies in the global market, based upon our outstanding achievements including more than 10 cases of national research and development projects and many patents.”
